Trekking Route and Itinerary

Suggested Itinerary
  • Day 1-2:Kathmandu to Taplejung
  • Fly from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur and drive to Taplejung.Prepare for the trek and explore the local surroundings.
    • Day 3-8:Taplejung to North Base Camp
    Trek through lush valleys, dense forests, and traditional villages including the rest and acclimatization day at Ghunsa and side trips around..
    • Day 9-12:North Base Camp Exploration
    Ascend to Kambachen and Lhonak, leading to the North Base Camp.Marvel at the north face of Kanchenjunga and the surrounding peaks.
    • Day 13-18:Ghunsa to South Base Camp
    Cross the Sele La Pass to reach Tseram.Continue to Ramche and Oktang for views of the south face of Kanchenjunga.Descend through Torongding and Yamphudin.
    • Day 19-22:Return to Taplejung
    Trek back to Taplejung via traditional villages such as Khebang and Kande Bhanjyang.Drive to Bhadrapur and fly back to Kathmandu. Some Tips
