Sukra Rai is a key figure at Prems Nepal Trek (PNT), overseeing client communication, bookings, team coordination, and marketing. A licensed trekking guide since 2012 (License No. 447), he has led trekkers across Nepal’s most iconic and remote trails. While now focused on management, he stays connected to the mountains by exploring new routes and occasionally joining treks. Passionate about photography and videography, he also ensures prompt client communication, making every trekking experience seamless and unforgettable.
Chandi Rai
Trekking Guide
Guide Chandi Rai comes from Sankhuwa-sabha situated in north-eastern Nepal. He is 27 years old and single. He has 9 years’ experience in trekking guiding and is licensed by the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation & Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management. He is a well skilled massager and plays the bamboo flute magically. He also has the knowledge of trail painting and is a good artist.
Asal Rai
Trekking Guide
This caricature guide comes from Sunsari situated in south-eastern Nepal. He is probably the strongest man in our company. He has received a trekking guide license from the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation & Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management. He plays the bamboo flute and beats Nepali drums very well. He also has a good knowledge of massage. If you call him, hey Chimps, he will be even happier.
Harichan Kulung
Trekking Guide
Hari is the most experienced guide of Prems Nepal Trek. And now he has been working as a trekking guide in Nepal more than 30 years! He is as active as before. He has received a license from the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation & Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management. And Hari comes from Mt. Makalu region of eastern Nepal.

Sagar Rai is our one of regular trekking guides with over a decade of experience in guiding adventurers through all the trekking routes of Nepal. He is from Bhojpur in eastern Nepal; Sagar has established himself as a reliable and knowledgeable guide, leading numerous treks across the Nepal Himalayas. With his trekking guide License number 2587, Sagar brings a wealth of expertise and insight to every journey. Known for his kindness, humility, and professionalism, Sagar is renowned for his unwavering dedication to ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients. Tara Rai, with over 18 years of experience in the trekking industry, is an esteemed member of our family and a valued guide at our company. His extensive expertise has led numerous clients through various trekking trails across Nepal. In addition to his guiding skills, Tara is also a certified massage therapist and is more than happy to offer his services to our clients upon request. He approaches his profession with enthusiasm and holds a deep respect for the outdoors and the people he guides.

Manish Rai, a licensed trekking guide (License No. 6140), became part of Prems Nepal Trek (PNT) in 2022, after gaining extensive experience with various trekking companies and as a freelance guide. He has led treks across Nepal’s famous regions, including Everest, Kanchenjunga, Langtang, Manaslu, and Annapurna. Known for his fluent English, reliability, and friendly demeanor, Manish is committed to providing an exceptional experience for every trekker. Hailing from Khotang, Nepal, he is a dedicated and valuable member of Team PNT.
Surya Rai
Trekking Guide
Surya Bahadur Rai, known as Surya, hails from Jubu in the Solukhumbu district (Lower Everest region). He joined Prems Nepal Trek (PNT) in 2018 and has been a key member of our team ever since. A licensed trekking guide (License No. 14515), Surya has extensive experience leading treks across Nepal’s major regions, including Everest, Kanchenjunga, Langtang, Manaslu, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri. Known for his energy, dedication, and passion, Surya ensures every trek is safe and enjoyable. We are proud to have him as an invaluable member of Team PNT.
Raj Rai
Trekking Guide
Raj comes from Bhojpur, Nepal. He is a nice, dedicated and very strong guide. He acts better as porter-guide than fully guiding. He has years of experience in trekking. He also has attained a trekking guide license from the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation & Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management.
Bhim Kulung

Bhim Kulung has 17 years’ experience in leading trekking groups. He is an honest and hardworking guide. He comes from Sankhuwa-sabha in north eastern Nepal. He has obtained his trekking guide license from the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation & Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management.
Pawan Magar
Trekking Guide
This young energetic guy comes from Panchthar Mechi of eastern Nepal, which is located near the Mt. Kanchanjungha base camp trek. He is one of the strongest guides at our company. He has good knowledge of trail painting and has been involved many times in new trail research (North Annapurna Base Camp, East Mardi and South Machhapuchre Base Camp etc...) with Prem Rai. He is a trekking guide license holder from the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation & Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management.
Bhim Kulung

Bhim Kulung is a 24 years old trekking guide. He is one of the most honest guides in our company. He has gained an English speaking trekking guide license from the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation & Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management. He has completed a master’s degree from Tribhuwan University.

Nagen Rai, originally from Bhojpur, Nepal, has 15 years of experience as a trekking guide, leading clients on all major trekking routes in Nepal. Fluent in English and with basic Korean skills, he connects well with trekkers from diverse backgrounds. Known for his polite and soft-spoken demeanor, he ensures clients feel welcome and comfortable. A talented guitarist and singer, Nagen often entertains trekkers with his music. His friendly, loyal, and helpful nature makes him a valued team member.

Jaman Sing Rai, a licensed guide (License No. 1757) from Silichong Village, Eastern Nepal, is an experienced seasonal trekking guide with expertise in Nepal’s popular routes. He recently completed his bachelor’s degree and plans to pursue a master’s. Known for his friendly nature, loyalty, helpfulness, and dedication, Jaman is a proud and valued member of Team PNT.
Dikendra Ra
Trekking Guide-Porter
Dikendra Rai (DK), from a remote village in Eastern Nepal, has a diverse professional background. He worked as a trekking guide-porter from 2010 to 2014, then as a bartender in Qatar until 2019. Returning to Nepal in 2021 after the pandemic, DK joined Team PNT as a dedicated trekking guide-porter. Known for his discipline, he maintains a clean kitchen and dining area, provides excellent client service, and is physically fit, friendly, loyal, and professional. His choice to abstain from alcohol further reflects his commitment to his work.

This gentleman has almost 20 years’ experience of trekking guiding in Nepal. He comes from Sankhuwa-sabha of north east Nepal. He has earned a license from the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation & Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management.
