Best Time to Trek
The best times for the Manaslu Circuit Trek are spring (March to May) and autumn (October to December). These seasons offer stable weather, clear skies, and pleasant temperatures.
- Manaslu Conservation Area Permit (MCAP)
- Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP)
- You must trek with a registered trekking company/guide and be part of a group of at least two people.
- Fitness:Make sure you are physically and mentally fit for the trek.
- Gear:Bring the proper trekking gear, including warm clothing and sturdy boots.
- Day 1-2:Travel from Kathmandu to Jagat. On day 01, you have to drive a long day from Kathmandu to Machhikhola with the private/Public Bus/Jeep as your preference; we always prefer the private vehicle for more safety and comfortable journey!
- Day 3-6:Trek through Jagat, Deng to Namrung.
- Day 7-9:Continue to Samagaon, with an acclimatization day to Pungyan Gumba or Manaslu Base Camp.
- Day 10-12:Trek to Samdo and Dharamsala (Larkya Phedi)
- Day 13-14:Cross Larkya La pass and descend to Bhimtang
- Day 15-17:Trek to Dharapani/Tal/Jagat then travel back to Kathmandu
