Terms & Conditions — Prems Nepal Trek Pvt. Ltd.
Welcome to Prems Nepal Trek Pvt. Ltd. By booking a trek, tour, or adventure package with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Booking and Reservations
- Deposit: To secure your spot on any trek, a deposit is required at the time of online booking, with the exact amount specified during the checkout process.
- Full Payment: The remaining balance must be paid prior to the trip departure date, or upon your arrival in Nepal as agreed upon in writing.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you need to cancel your trip, the following fees apply based on the date we receive your written cancellation notice:
- More than 30 days before departure: Loss of the non-refundable deposit (or option to transfer it to a future date within 1 year).
- 15 to 29 days before departure: 50% of the total trip cost is non-refundable.
- Less than 14 days before departure / No Show: 100% of the total trip cost is non-refundable.
3. Itinerary Changes and Weather Delays
Mountain weather, flight delays in remote airstrips (like Lukla or Jomsom), or political strikes can be unpredictable.
- Right to Alter: We and our guides reserve the right to modify itineraries at any time for the safety and welfare of our clients.
- Additional Costs: Any extra expenses incurred due to weather delays, natural disasters, or emergency evacuation (such as extra food, hotel nights, or rescue operations) are the sole responsibility of the client.
4. Travel Insurance and Medical Fitness
- Mandatory Insurance: All clients must hold comprehensive travel insurance covering personal accident, medical expenses, emergency air ambulance/helicopter rescue up to the maximum trekking altitude, and trip cancellation.
- Health Disclosure: Clients must inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions. If a guide determines a client is medically unfit to continue safely, the guide’s decision is final.
5. Risk and Liability
Trekking in remote mountain regions carries inherent risks, including altitude sickness, extreme weather, and rugged terrain. While our guides take every precaution to ensure a safe journey, Prems Nepal Trek Pvt. Ltd. accepts no liability for injury, illness, loss of property, or death beyond our direct control.
